We are pleased to share that McKinnis has successfully written and choreographed the original ballet "Reflective Transparency: The Inner Beauty", which is a work that began in 2015 and was performed in 2016 and again in 2017.  With the assistance of a grant from the East Central Arts Council, McKinnis is now able to write part two of the Reflective Transparency: The Inner Beauty series entitled "Our Volitant Province" to be performed in 2018.
These ballets include original music composed by Andy & Kathryn Karg of 2getherproductions from St. Paul, MN.

Natasha has danced with In His Steps Ballet for many years.  She has danced in over 50 dances choreographed with our studio.  She has placed as a semi-finalist in the Minnesota State Fair.  Natasha is an excellent student, demonstrating hard work, diligence and elegance to her art.  We are proud to have Natasha teaching with Mrs. Lisa for our pre-pointe, pointe and elite petite students this 2016-2017 season.   Natasha's long-term goals include becoming a veterinarian.

Ballet & Tap

Maria has been dancing with In His Steps Ballet since the age of three.  Maria has placed as a semi-finalist in the Minnesota State Fair three years in a row.  Maria has performed in multiple roles including our multiple disciplines of creating writing, crafts and projects, character development, and her choreography.  Maria will be our lead teacher for our preschool class this season and will assist in teaching along side Natasha and Jenna in our more advanced classes.   Maria is one of our studio's most emotionally intuitive dancers as can be seen in her solo work and her role in the corp.   Maria's long-term goals include not only dance, but possibly engineering.
